Last years anniversary trip! Fun, fun, fun!

Fifteen years ago today on a chilly December day I got to marry my best friend. I was so nervous the whole day leading up to arriving at the church and yes, I was late. Everything got to start on time but my dad and her dad were waiting at the door of the church on my arrival, you can imagine that conversation. We had our friends and family there to share in the amazing day and it was perfect.

Listening to music this morning and the rain was pouring down outside a song came on my iphone that really hit me today. It was by the Oak Ridge Boys called "It Takes a Little Rain to Make a Love Grow". Boy if that didn't nail it! Those of you that know us closely know what we have gone through and how we have come out of it stronger and better for each other.

I truly believe that I have married the most amazing woman and am so honored to be her husband, partner in business and life and best friend. So on our anniversary I also want to thank all of you, our family, our friends, and our clients who have become such great friends as well. We wouldn't be where we are without you! Thank you for everything! And Angel, I love you and thank you for being the most beautiful, amazing woman in the world. Isn't it lucky?

Dining by the Computer Glow

What started off as today's packed lunch ended up being dinner by the glow of my computer screen. Occasionally I drift off thinking of today, the fun sessions I had and the clients I spoke to. Then I start thinking of the people I deal with either on a daily basis or pretty darn close to it.

I need to send out a few kisses tonight to people who deserve to be recognized. First, to my husband who day in and day out tolerates my random silliness, twenty ideas and over-analyzing.

Second, to a fabulous local business, Copy Cat Graphics who is always professional with an expectional eye for quality. Not only are these folks kind and professional, but they go above and beyond my expectations (if you ask Jamie, he will tell you they are quite high). So a big Kiss to Susan and Lance at Copy Cat Graphics for always taking care of us and making sure everything that you produce is of the highest quality each and every time.

Last, but not least, to my family and friends for helping both at the studio and at home with no expectations in return.

Life, Love and a Miracle

Forty years ago at 1:00 am this morning a baby was born. In her typical way, early, in fact 10 weeks early. She tipped the scales at 2lbs and 10oz and was 14"long. Such a tiny little miracle and a fighter, she was named Angel. Little did they know the name would be so fitting. She stayed in the hospital for 7 weeks before Dave and Sondra could bring her home. She has done so many amazing things, there are too many to list and everyone that knows her just falls in love with her. Giving, loving and caring are just a few things that she is thought of for. A true friend and someone anyone can talk to and feel good after doing so is another. I am the luckiest man in the world to be known as Angel's husband! A title I cherish. And always will.

Today is your birthday babe and I am so happy I get to be sharing this day and celebrating it with you. You have done so many amazing things in your first forty I can't wait to see what the future brings for you. Enjoy every minute of every day. Live, Love and Laugh! Working Up The Nerve

When he gazed across the room, there she stood. He thought to himself how beautiful she is. He just didn't have the nerve to go over and talk to her. They shared mutual friends, perhaps he could work up he nerve a later through one of their friends.

The night whirled by and before he knew it his opportunity to meet her at the party had passed. He had to quickly think of a way to talk to her! He decided to send her a Facebook message stating, "it was nice talking to you".

When Jessica arrived home she saw that she had a message that read "it was nice talking to you" from Adam. She giggled to herself because she knew full well they hadn't spoken at the party. It was just enough to get her attention.

Adam and Jessica are an amazing couple with the world in their hands. Congratulations to both of you! What a gorgeous wedding day you had.

I just had to jump in for one. 3 decades worth of Marines. Pretty cool.

We photograph families, of course, but one of the great things about doing this is getting to know them as well. We don't operate as a walk in business and our goal is to try and get to know you and find out what you are about as a family. I love photographing and sometimes I get emotional when I do it. This past Saturday I had the privilege and honor of photographing a family that was awesome. What makes them that? Seeing them laugh and have fun with each other showed in the images as well as how they interacted with each other. Another thing, their son. He is a Marine. The title itself speaks volumes. To be one (which I am, there is no such thing as an ex Marine, once that title is earned it can't be taken away) is to know what service and dedication is. When he walked in the studio in uniform you couldn't help but stand a little taller, shake his hand a little longer, and feel proud. It was 4th of July weekend, a weekend where we celebrate our independence. An independence earned by young men and women like this young man. So it made the session that much more special. He has volunteered to keep us safe, to go where we won't or don't even want to think about. He will be deploying very soon for a tour in Afghanistan. I pray not only for his safe tour and return but for peace for his family and girlfriend while he is away. God bless you and Semper Fi! Here are a few pics from that day.

Well Mr. Larkins (Adam) the first order of business is congratulations on graduating from Ohio State today. How very proud we all are of you!

Next, I'm going to take you down "memory lane" and a few little stories to share. Do you remember when I used to babysit you? I specifically remember you running around the house as fast as you could then running up your dad's lazy boy recliner so it would tip over balancing on it like it was a surf board. Then running back down the recliner to tip it back upright and back to running as fast as you could through the house! I thought your mom would kill me if she ever found out (guess she'll know now)!

Oh, and how about the chocolate milk phase? I mean that was the ONLY thing you would drink. It had to be made a certain way or you would not even consider drinking it! Morning, noon and night, that was it.....chocolate milk.

What a long way you have come, graduating today and in three weeks getting married. Congratulations!

As Jamie and I got out of bed thanksgiving morning I couldn't help but think, what am I thankful for today and as I brushed my teeth thinking of this oh so important question, in walks Jamie with his dishelved hair and sleepy eyes asking me what I am thankful for.

I tell him I am thankful for him, my family, friends, health, a roof over our head, having fun and love. When I talk of these things it never fails to pop into my head.......if I were to not have tomorrow, would I be satisfied with what my life has been up to today? Am I living in the here and now. I can happily say I would be very satisfied.

Of couse today I think of all of my family who I am able to be with and those who I can't be with in person but am so thankful I have met, cherished and loved.

To my friends and family....Happy Thanksgiving, and you've made a great difference in my life.

I love what we do. We get to tell peoples stories through our portraits. Sometimes you get to meet someone you just have to photograph for you. Then you hear their story and it makes it that much better.

I have seen him riding his Harley around town for years. Always with the hat on, teddy bear and flag on the back of his bike. You couldn't miss him. I knew I wanted to meet him and hopefully get a chance to photograph him. If you find someone like him you know there is a story. Little did I know how great the story is... He goes by Harley and he is a character! What sets him apart from any other guy thats been riding around for years? He is the ultimate marketer. Yea, the tough looking biker is known all over, not just around our town but his name is in probably every state and a lot of countries as well. Harley signs his money. Every dollar he spends has his signature on it. Every single one. He wont spend it unless he signs it. People all over know him as the guy that signs his money. He has been doing it for close to forty years now and has no plans on stopping. Here are a few pics of my new friend. I am privileged to know him and if you ever see him out and about, say hi. He loves to talk to people and I am glad to call him my friend.

There she was, the only little one not making a sound. Her dark hair shining and looking at Jamie and I with her sad, sad eyes. What could have happened thus far in her life that her eyes reflected such sorrow? Ugh, I didn't want to think about it.

That's right.....Jamie and I want to welcome little Gracie May May, our new little doggy to our family. She is so very spoiled and has us wrapped around her little (big) paw. She's already discovered shoes and the fine teething they provide for her young (but sharp) puppy teeth, Jamie's hats, remote controls, cardboard and well.........anything else she can sink those teeth into.

How could we have forgotten about the chewing, potty training and all that energy! Oh well, we still adore this fabulous little thing.

Dinner with Dad

It was a quiet evening and I was a feeling antsy and just wanted to get out. Jamie was working and I didn't really feel like having dinner by myself (Oh, and my kitchen sink is not draining. They'll be coming tomorrow to replace all my plumbing). I called to see what my parents were doing for dinner. Strike out there, my mom was working Lil lambs closet. Wait, here was a text from my sister....Yes! the dinner plans were on.

I patiently waited for my dinner party to arrive. Sigh, still waiting. At last, in walks Nicole, Peighton and my dad! My niecePeighton has a coupon for a free personal pizza from school which she was oh so proud to show me. I adore that girl. She knows it too.

As we sat there eating and talking I notice Peighton and my dad were getting quite a kick out of the stories Nicole and I were sharing about growing up. Okay, so I'll confess a few, like the nights when my mom would work. My dad would make dinner that we didn't like. I would feed it to our dog "keesha" to be able to get up from the table. Nicole would be too afraid so she would have to sit there all night. Nicole, he was in the other room!

Don't be feeling sorry for Nicole, she had a few moments of her own. Like the time she would play with the neighbor and she would offer him food. Then she would put dog food in it. Gross!!

Some of the stories my dad "says" he doesn't remember. Like making treat meat. Why does he think that's nasty NOW and not when we were young? Poor Keesha.

This was the best dinner date ever!

Emily and Natalie were both nervous for their big model shoot. Thankfully they were best friends and were there for each other. Even though they had their consultation and they new Jamie and Angel they couldn't help but wonder what today's model shoot would be like.

As they arrived at the studio they quickly settled in as they discussed their clothing, accessories and shoes. They made great choices!

Although I kept calling Emily, Natalie. They were so very patient with me. How sweet these two beautiful girls are! They are beautiful on the inside and out. They are truly amazing with their gymnastics and their agility in all aspects of their life by being able to quickly adapt to any situation.

Alli was looking at her watch. It's one o'clock in the morning and I've got to get home and get my beauty rest! Ugh! I have my first modeling session tomorrow and I want to make sure I don't look tired tomorrow when I go. I can't believe we have been at the school this late. She gets ready for bed and peacefully drifts to sleep.

The bell rings for the last module of school...finally! Alli rushes home, jumps in the shower, blow dries her hair, grabs her outfits and is out the door in record time. Her mind racing with excitement. She can't wait to get there!

What To Wear

Why is it when we get our photograph taken we are uncertain of what to wear? For some of us it is a downright panic. We stand in front of our closet weighing our options......maybe black because it will make those last 15 pounds seem not so noticable. Maybe I'll wear the black and then hide behind someone or something in the picture. Oh give it up girl! Embrace yourself! This "positive" self talk might be working after all. Hhhmmmm....yep, I am going with it.

I am also going with Nicole, our little fashion diva(lfd). This girl can rock it with the clothing and accessories! I've never seen anything quite like it! From head to toe you look good!! The Life Of A Senior Model

She was a little nervous at first. Ashley was getting her clothing ready for her very first modeling session. She found her mind wondering.....What would it be like.....how would she know what to do in front of the camera? Would she know how to pose? Would she feel or worse, look silly! She thought to herself, I am just going to have to go and find out!

When Ashley arrived at the studio she found it quite comfortable. The staff greeted her friendly. They even grabbed her clothing and ushered her away to the changing room talking about clothing, colors, shoes, and backgrounds. She thought to herself, this is going to be fun!

Ashley was way fun!! She photographed so beautifully!! You go on with your bad self girl! So here is one of my very favorites from her first model shoot.

Thoughts

As you all know we just got back from the Professional Photographers of America national convention and it was a great experience. It showed me quite a bit about what our industry is and what it can be. A lot of times we hear that photography is expensive. To some it may feel that way but when there is a tragedy you will always see people carrying out their photo albums and saying at least they were able to save their portraits. We have a duty as photographers to tell your story for generations to come. I love looking at photos from my grandparents from before my time. I can look back at those and smile and think of the great times my family had, and see my history. Photography is priceless and we love having the opportunity to capture your family's memories and tell your stories.
At the convention we had the opportunity to meet some of the best photographers in the world and talk to some of our favorites. It really made me look at some things and hope that we are as giving and helpful as some of these people are. It is all about you the customer. Some that we spoke to really get this and know that without you they wouldn't be speaking for thousands of people. Some on the other hand think we are privilaged to hear them. I know which ones I want to follow and that will be around for years to come. We all have a gift. We should be able to pass on our gifts to someone else. Maybe you can take some time to share your gift. If you could pass something to someone else what would it be? What if you did have the time. We are very blessed to have some friends and mentors and even some new ones who have shared so much with us, we will continue to try and share with others and never forget about those who help us on our journey. If you are or have been a client of ours, Thank you for believing in us and putting your trust in us to tell your story. Today has turned out to be quite a productive day. I love days like this. Those who know me, know that I love to paint. Yes, they think I'm crazy! Maybe I am but it does not stop me from loving it.

My sister (Nicole) has moved back from Columbus. I am so excited!! I helped her, my dad, Peighton and my brother-in-law (Brett) move some of her stuff into storage. We took one look at the Uhal and at the storage unit and we all thought there is NO WAY that it was all going to fit. With great determination and quick thinking we all worked together to get her stuff in that 10x10 space.

I've got to get back to painting! Remember, life is too short so have some fun today!

Here we are in Nashville, Tennessee.....through the snow storm on Thursday. What should have taken eight hours, took thirteen! How blessed we are to have arrived safely. Somehow times like this I always find myself in very deep thought.

Today is Jamie's birthday! We got to see our very first portrait displayed today for 7,000 people to see. We had no idea it was going to be there! There we were walking through the tradeshow and the vendor yells James Wood Photography. There, as beautiful as could be was our work displayed for all to see. This is our very first international display. Wow!! Happy Birthday Baby!

Now back to yesterday. Jamie and I recorded a few songs on CD. Nope it's not pretty, but a whole lot of fun!! What I treasure most listening to it is not the notes we actually hit (believe me a few and far between of those), but rather the genuine happiness, giggles from missing the words and dang, did I say the fun! :o)

New Studio Location

It's been a challenge, but we have finally moved into our new studio. Not an easy adventure while successfully plugging through our busy time of year. New walls, floors, paint, counters to name a few things!

A huge THANK YOU to Jack Sutton for the absolutely beautiful work he did at our new studio with the walls, custom counter, trim work and all of the "small" (and some not so small) details that were brilliant. This is a contractor that you most definately want to have do work for you. If you don't believe me by reading this, stop by and we'll show you the before and after photos.

To my father who we can't thank enough for the maticulous priming and painting work. All the taping and covering the royal blue doors, floors and walls.

Have you ever had to make a decision that you agonized over? Perhaps it was because you were comfortable with status quo, maybe it was fear, but fear of what? You just couldn't put your finger on it......Then, with a big open palmed hand, it slapped you in the face! You made the right decision and vow to never again question yourself. Okay, that is until the next life altering event (or so we think at the time) comes along.

So now with a huge sigh of relief, I know I've made the right decision. I move forward with a much lighter step, realizing life is too short. I can't worry or take responsibility for the bitter or petty people. I can and choose to only embrace the individuals who support and cheer me on both personally and professionally.

General Thoughts and wishes

Hey all! I just wanted to share some thoughts I have had this week. A high school friend of mine had sent me a message saying it seemed I had found something I love to do. It got me thinking that I am lucky to do something that not only brings me a ton of joy and happiness but also brings joy to our clients. I am the luckiest guy in the world. Do you do what you love? If not why not? What brings you joy? Your family, your work? What is it? I would love to hear what brings you your joy and happiness. There are so many things going on in our world right now that are negative from major corporations going bankrupt to unrest in foreign lands that we all need something to smile at and love and enjoy! What is yours? Let us know. Leave a comment on what brings happiness in your life!

If there is something you have always wanted to do what is holding you back? Ok I know money is going to be the number one answer for most people. But what would you like to do that you aren't doing? Do you know someone who is doing it or is where you want to be. There are some people in our industry that we look up to. We like their work and how they do what they do. We have taken some chances with our business and have been really fortunate to have the clients we do. To get better we have asked a lot of questions of those who are where we want to be. Some have even welcomed us in to their studio to share their knowledge. Take a chance try something new, don't be afraid to ask questions of those who are where you want to be. You never know they may help you in more ways than you can imagine!

Our team Walking for "D"

We were asked to go out to Wooster on Friday night for the Relay for Life event held at Wooster High School. It was a night to honor those that have passed from this terrible disease and to celebrate those who are winning the battle. Every one of us has known or currently knows someone and probably someone very close to us who have fought this disease. These events are held all over and I was so impressed by the amount of people that were there to walk. I have some pics I am going to post to show about our experience there. We walked for some members of our family one of which, Angels sister who lost her battle this year. We miss her and were glad to get to know her like we did. We also walked for Angels mom who is a cancer survivor and my dad who is a survivor as well. If you have never been to one of these events I ask you to take the time when one is coming around you and GO. Walk a lap. Make a donation (anything will help). Clap and cheer when the survivors go by in their first lap. And stick around for the lighting of the lighting of the luminaries. It will move you. Here are a couple of the pics from that night.

Today was Kourtney's day for fun. We went all around town. She enjoyed splashing in the water and laughing like she didn't have a care in the world. We even played catch, ran and hit the ball for action pics. One of her favorite hobbies is softball! She is very good too!

Don't let this tough softball girl fool you though. She has one of the best personalities! It shines through with her laughter and sense of adventure.

Ok starting to finally dry out after photographing the Perry Powder Puff game from last night. It was just like our regular football season. It rained! They had a great turnout for the game and I hope they raised a ton of money, it was for a great cause. Had a lot of fun photographing it and here are a few from the game. Seniors won. Enjoy!

This is my favorite time of day, early in the morning. As I was driving to the studio today and replaying yesterday's sessions in my head, I couldn't help but think....Isn't it lucky. Isn't it lucky to have a job......that you absolutely love, where you feel like you make a difference, when you get to meet genuinely good people, and you get to have fun doing it!

National Honor Society

What a great night! We were at the school to photograph the induction ceremony for the National Honor Society. Over 90 students were inducted and the ceremony was great. It was awesome to see these students get inducted to a group that it takes alot of hard work and dedication to so many areas of life. Character, Scholarship, Leadership and Service are characteristics that are so important not only in school but in life. We were also happy to see many of our seniors getting honored. Many were already in and introduced new members and some were getting their pins last night. Congrats to Marie, Valery, Lepear, and Logan. Here is a pic of Marie, Valery and I. Way to go!

What a crazy week it's been so far and it's only Tuesday!! It's getting late and here we are posting some pics! Lovin every minute of photographing, retouching and meeting our Senior Ambassadors and their families. This is our newest Ambassador from Perry High School! As you can see he likes baseball and hunting. If you run in to him, ask him what his ring tone on his phone is. :o) Come to find out he had a lot more fun getting his Senior Pictures done than chasing cows.......that one's for you, mom and dad, from Jamie. lol

Sun, Fun & Wind

What an exciting day we had on Saturday photographing. I have to admit, a sunny day photographing are always a challenge, then we add wind to the mix. Let's just say our seniors that day were very good at going with the flow (literally). We had a few laughs as the wind whipped through the air and through their hair, just as we were trying to capture that perfect image for them...right in their face the wind would blow! I'm glad they like to have as much fun as we do because we would all start laughing. I have always loved pictures of laughter.

I have a few images of Yasmin and Kirsten from Jackson and some of Valery from Perry. I want to thank you all for pretending it was warm and very graciously putting up with all of the wind.

Okay, I talked to my mom today who lives in Myrtle Beach and was telling her about our bunny day and all the great seniors we have been photographing lately, so I decided to post a picture just for her. Her ya go. Hope you like it. Just a side note. Bunny's do not like smooth surfaces. The scratches on my hand prove that! I was the only one apparently that didn't know this. They also shed. Alot. Was heading to a wedding and had to dehare myself... Ok bad joke. Sorry. Before anyone asks I did change shoes before the wedding.

And on a side note congrats to Mom for being named the Public Servant of the Week in Myrtle Beach! We are very proud of you. Her picture was in the Myrtle Beach Herald Newspaper as part of the article. Way to go Mom.

Amanda had Analisa in the studio on Saturday and here are a couple from that. She is so adorable! She love the bubbles and the carriage and had to have a bear in the carriage for her to push around. We look forward to her coming back many more times! She was so much fun and magical!

Heroes, Heartbreak, and Happiness

We attended the covention for Professional Photographers of Ohio a couple of weekends ago and had a blast. It is great to be able to meet the people who you look up to in your industry. People who have been where we are and are where we want to be. Thanks to those who spent the time with us and let us bend your ears for advice! You are all awesome. Plus the convention trade show which is like a giant toy store for photographers. We picked up some great stuff to use for this year and I think our seniors are going to love it.

We attended the convention with heavy hearts tho. We lost someone very close to us and are just privelaged they were in our lives for as long as they were. We say this all the time but don't ever wait to get that family portrait done. It truly can be too late sometimes. We were able to get some of her and are thrilled we did. Sometimes the most casual picture will be one you treasure forever!

We are so excited for our upcoming senior season. We have an awesome group of models out there and are getting more everyday! We can't wait for everyone to come in and get their photos done. If you are a junior and are interested contact the studio right away. Angel posted some pics of some of them already and there will be more coming.

Well it's that time of year again....Senior Portraits! Unless you've had other siblings havc their portraits done, most people do not realize that Senior Portraits are taken during your Junior year of high school. Why? Saturday we had a session with Alex and his favorite toy! We ran, we jumped, blew bubbles and giggled! Aaaahhh....the pure joy of an eighteen month old! They are so expressive (and quick) at this age. This is our third time photographing Alex and he loves to explore the studio and run on the big white floor and play with the letters that spell his name. What pure joy!

True Friendship and other thoughts for the week.

In our profession we are truly blessed to capture moments in time. As we say we are "Capturing Your Memories." Well, I had an opportunity to photograph an event last night that really was fun for me and made me think of a lot of things.

A group of guys all from the same neighborhood, which is actually a stones throw from our studio, have remained friends for 55 years. That is so cool! They get together every 5 years for dinner to reminiss and tell stories about growing up together. I was privileged to be the "fly on the wall" and listen to the stories and see how strong these friendships have been thru the years. Imagine how all of their lives have changed and what they have gone thru, marriages, children and maybe for some of them grandchildren. By the way...I think they were all friends at birth... I did hear one of them say that they can't imagine the time they have one of these dinners and there is an empty chair. I couldn't imagine that for them either.

Dave, John, Dick, Walt, Chuck, and Howard, thank you for letting me be there for this, I was honored. Dave R. was unable to be there but he was missed and lucky he wasn't there for the gifts! One of the guys came from California and one from Tennessee to get together for the event which really showed me what their friendship was about. Thanks again guys, it was truly an honor for me and I hope to be there when you get together again this time in 3 years.

I got to thinking about how busy all of our lives seem to be and that we sometimes don't take a few minutes for the really important things like a phone call to a friend we haven't talked to in a while or a quick visit to a relative. We are so busy working and doing the busy things that we forget the relationships that make us who we are. I am guilty of this all to much lately and am going to do something to make sure I take the time. Life is short. As the saying goes, Laugh, Live, and Love! Take a moment this week to do all three. It will make you feel better for sure. Have a great one!

Been a while since we have posted. Been very busy and have a lot of exciting things going on here. This week is Homecoming and we had the queen and her court in the studio for their picture the other day. It actually looks like we are going to have some good weather for the game which we haven't had for many of them. NO RAIN!

If you live in the area or are planning to go to the game the Perry Township Rotary has their annual spaghetti dinner in the school cafeteria before the game this Friday. Great food and a good price for a meal, and they do the dishes too...Tickets are available at the door.

We have a special event coming up for the month of October. Please check back in the next few days for all the details. It is something that touches our family personally and we hope you all will support it. More details to follow. But if you have been thinking about family portraits this is a great time to schedule. Have a great week and congatulations to the Village of Beach City I hear that they have a new Police Chief in town and they couldn't have found someone better.

Up up and away...

Busy weekend again. Football on Friday, Volleyball and Girls Soccer on Saturday. We even got asked to take some pictures of the competition at the volleyball match. Thanks Central fans. Your pictures are out there! It was a good weekend for our teams, none lost. Soccer tied but still played a great game. We are getting lots of photos for you to look at and if there is something you want to see that you aren't, let us know. Big celebration week for Perry this week, it is the 50th anniversary celebration for the school. There will be a parade and I am sure a ton of people at the game against Hoover. Our first Federal League game of the year and a bunch of people out for the celebration. Get there early and cheer loud. Both teams I am sure will love playing in front of such a big crowd.

I have been really impressed watching all of the games this year by seeing how many students come out to support all of the sports. Way to go.

Lots of seniors to photograph this week. Looking forward to Kali, Julianne, Brittany, Zataviah, and Chad should be a bunch of fun. The weather was spotty tonight, but we managed between the raindrops to catch some amazing pics of the game tonight. We got to chat with some of the parents and students tonight which was cool. We even got to take some pics of them too.

It was an awesome game, Perry won. Tonight was Senior night for football, band and cheerleading. How proud the parents must be. You could see it on their faces.

Hey all it's James this time. Angel is right we had a great time photographing the game. She did a tennis match on Saturday as well. (pics to follow) I did some volleyball last week and had a ton of fun. Busy week this week with soccer more tennis and a huge football week. It is Senior night for the band and football team. Still photographing seniors as well. Did some updating in the studio so it looks a lot different in here. If you get a chance stop by and check it out. Still more changes to come... Jamie and I photographed the Perry/Central game on Friday night. That's the first time we've photographed a football game together. I really enjoyed photographing the players, coaches, band and the student cheering section. Okay and I have to admit.......Mrs. Williams talked me into trying some of the concession food too. There's just something so "right" about hot dogs at a game. BTW.....they were very good Mrs. Williams. ;o)

We have been photographing Perry High Schools softball team for their banquet for the past two years. The seniors from the team come to our studio for their intro shots and we ask them to bring their prom dresses for a fun different kind of portrait. This year was no exception we and they had a blast. Thank you Nicole, Megan, Erica, Missy, Erin, and Shelby. YOU GIRLS ROCK!!! They were game for everything we threw at them. This is a shot they really liked doing as well. I am going to miss this group as it is our third year of putting their slide show together and now they are all moving on to bigger and better things. We wish them all the best of luck. And to their parents, what a great job of raising your kids. You should be proud as well. Here are a few photos from today. Enjoy we did!
